For those who serve. For those who survive. And for those who want to lead from a place of calm clarity.
Our Mission
C.A.L.M exists to help individuals, leaders, and healers alike become the safest place to land—for themselves and for others.
Rooted in the integrative principles of a three step framework:
ATRT – Advanced Trauma Reprocessing Technique
EIRTA – Emotional Intelligence for Recovery from Trauma and Addiction
The Conscious Care Continuum – Sustainable strategies for wellness and ethical care
Our mission is clear:
To end the silent suffering in helping professions, recovery spaces, and underserved systems by offering accessible, embodied, trauma-aware care.
This is for those who serve. For those who survive. And for those who want to lead from a place of calm clarity—not chaos.
Our Philosophy
“Healing doesn’t happen in the chaos—it begins in the calm.”
Lisa believes that trauma recovery isn’t just personal—it’s professional. It’s not just about getting better, it’s about getting free.
Whether she’s speaking on a stage, facilitating workshops in healthcare systems, or mentoring trauma-informed coaches, Lisa brings equal parts depth, soul, and strategy to every space she enters.
You were never meant to white-knuckle your healing alone. With the right tools and nervous system safety, transformation is not only possible—it’s inevitable.
Let’s build a future where care doesn’t cost you your well-being.
Let’s lead from the inside out.
Let’s start with C.A.L.M.
Lisa’s biography
Lisa Lacy is a trauma-informed leader, corporate educator, and emotional intelligence expert with over 30 years of experience training and mentoring professionals in some of the nation’s largest hospital systems. With a background in physician education, revenue cycle management, and healthcare communication, Lisa has spent her career helping high-stakes teams navigate stress, burnout, and change with resilience and clarity.
Her lived experience as a survivor of complex trauma, a rare blood disorder, and a former mental health patient with a prognosis of "poor to none" gives her a unique and powerful perspective. She’s not only walked through the fire—she’s built a framework from it.
That framework is C.A.L.M.: Conscious Awareness & Liberation Model—designed to help individuals and institutions heal from the inside out. Through her original methods—ATRT (Advanced Trauma Reprocessing Technique), EIRTA (Emotional Intelligence for Recovery from Trauma and Addiction), and The Conscious Care Continuum—Lisa brings nervous system regulation, trauma recovery, and heart-led leadership into clinical and coaching environments alike.
Her mission is simple yet urgent: to end the stigma around mental health in the helping professions and replace burnout with balance, disconnection with emotional intelligence, and silence with sustainable healing. Through workshops, speaking engagements, and customized programs, Lisa helps leaders, healers, and helpers become the safest place they know—starting from within.
She believes healing doesn’t happen in the chaos.
It begins in C.A.L.M.
